Rhythmically Connected through Sound
About Us
RhythmiCLE Sound Tap Company is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission it is to continue the legacy and teaching of America’s dance, tap, for dancers, the community, and American culture. We hold bi-weekly technique classes and rehearsals. We work to restore historical choreography created by tap masters from the 1900s. We host current masters of tap to teach dancers in our community, and we hold ensemble performances throughout the year both in concert and at charitable events.
We believe preserving and passing on America’s indigenous dance form is key to our history and our future generations. Our goal is to create an organization that can offer scholarships to deserving individuals to attend tap festivals and take classes as well as attending and participating in our other productions. We also strive to perform throughout the community at senior homes, hospitals, schools, local festivals, and community centers.
Our members travel from all over Ohio and Pennsylvania. They are masters of their craft and they enjoy making new friends and traveling to perform and take class. We have created a home for those who love this art form and we only hope to grow our community over the coming years.
